The name of the article I found for a Community Resource is called "Implicit Bias Explained" by the
Perception institute.
https://perception.org/research/implicit-bias/
It gives a good description of Implicit Bias is, this will help me define what Implicit Bias is in the design phase of my project.

Scholarly Literature
The name of the article I found for Scholarly Literature is called "Establishing construct validity evidence for regional measures of explicit and implicit racial bias."
By
Hehman, Eric. Calanchini, Jimmy. Flake, Jessica K. Leitner, Jordan B.

How explicit and implicit racial bias that correlate at the regional levels in the United States.
It shows how racial bias is changing in some areas in the United States for the better.
Data Research
Importance of movies avoiding racial stereotypes according to adults in the United States as of May 2019, by ethnicity
The importance of movies that try to avoid racial stereotypes can attract more customers.
Stereotype can be a problem that people don't realize is one. With better communication on the topic; there will be less ignorance on the subject.
The Interview
We interviewed Hira Hamiarani and Darah Ballard on Friday, September 6th.
The interviewees are seen as experts in the field of Perceptions and abolishing barriers having done research and presentations on the subject matter.
One of the topics they discussed was internal and external Attribution Theories and went over the power of Implicit Bias. I feel this would be a strong topic to use in the Diversity application.

Challenge Statement
- My Challenge Statement I came up with is..
Social perceptions and Implicit Bias can cause unseen barriers between different groups of people. I hope the interactive website will show how personal beliefs and experiences can influence people perception without them realizing it.
Objectives & Outcomes
- As part of out objectives and outcomes, first we needed to design a challenge statement. Working on it, will follow with more later.
- Also part of this step is to Analyze and summarize research, I found it to help gain better data on the topic, without it you can report bad information that would make a wrong conclusion. It also helps the designer make better decisions when coming up with the final project.
- After my initial interviews (more details about that later) I decided to focus on how implicit bias can be a major part of designing an app for better understanding Diversity.
